Green Smoothies & Fruit Smoothies

Lauras Creamy Green Fruit Smoothie

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup apple juice
½ cup 99% fat free vanilla yogurt
½ fresh banana
2 cups spinach leaves
1 packet Truvia natural sweetener
(Optional 1 tablespoon freshly ground flax seeds)

Directions:
Pour Juice in the bottom of blender, add in order banana, strawberries, yogurt, truvia and spinach on top.
Blend well starting on level one, and progressing to level three or high for several minutes. You want all flakes of spinach to be blended in well.

This is a really great way to pack in some of your veggie servings for the day. It tastes amazing! You truly can not taste the spinach. You will be amazed at the sweet creamy consistency of this smoothie. This is a great way to start the day for you or your kids! Be daring. Experiment. Try different fruits and leafy greens. Find what works for you and have fun!
